Bio

Serena Fisher is a Montreal based animator who has worked on a wide range of projects, from line artist on the feature film Ville-Neuve(2018) to animations for amusement park attractions. Each new project is approached with enthusiasm and creativity.

 

Her thesis film Bog Bodies allowed her the opportunity to study quadrupeds and birds and gain confidence in animating them realistically. She is particularly inspired by the films of Martin Rosin and Sébastien Laudenbach as well as Soviet-era animation.

Serena has worked on multiple interactive projects including video games and virtual reality in both 2D and 3D. 

She knows the Adobe Suite programs including Premiere, Photoshop and After-Effects. When working in 2D she has used TVPaint Pro, Toon Boom Harmony and Storyboard Pro. Her 3D programs are Autodesk Maya and Substance Painter Pro. 

She is comfortable working both locally and remotely.
